"I just wanted to let you know how fabulous it was to get the first delivery of your incredible, amazing fruit this week! I was so looking forward to it, and now am savoring every single bite. It's so wonderful to bite into a peach and have it taste like a peach rather than sawdust (some of those market peaches look so gorgeous, but YUCK, are such a disappointment to the tastebuds!). And those plums... Yummmmm. I ate several of them straight from the bag; they didn't even make it into the bowl on the counter! "I have to tell you, I CAN'T WAIT to pick up my fruit shares!!! Last week was my first time -- I expected receiving a brown paper bag with a few pieces of fruit in it. I was STUNNED (apparently it's ALL CAPS day!) when I was handed this huge bag of GORGEOUS (there I go again...) fruit!!!! I have never seen such beautiful gems, I felt like I could put them in a bowl on my table and it would qualify as art! And then, I ate a peach. OH MY!!!!!! Heaven! Bliss! Rapture!!! I kept telling my kids, "Eat this -- it tastes like a PEACH!!" and of course they just looked at me like I was crazy. All the other fruit did not disappoint either. I never thought I'd get excited about eating a pear, but I am now!!! Thank you for all your hard work to produce such delightfulness." - 2008 Member Maria

I grew up in the middle of South Jersey farm country and remember eating wonderful fruit in the summers when I was young, but my mom still lives there and I can't tell you how often she complains now about buying peaches, etc., directly from the farms near her and throwing half of them out because they are mushy... meanwhile the sound of loud slurping was the soundtrack of the summer in my house!
